MS Update won't install on Vista with SP1.
I have download 24 Meg of R&R data using Mapsource 3.05 into my new vista. Most of California and Reno - all the coastline and most inland counties, more than 90 maps. (I have 4.0 but haven't yet bothered to upgrade.) It correctly identified my vista and my emap as well as indicating the software version of both.

I had to dual boot a friend's new laptop that shipped with Vista (He needed XP because some of his external audio devices doesn't have vista drivers). I partitioned his hard drive, installed XP on the 2nd partition and installed Vistaboot pro because I had lost the ability to boot into Vista after installing XP.
